Prototype Casting at DiFoZ

A prototype is the first functional model of a part, used to validate geometry, material performance, and manufacturability before mass production. In casting, engineers and manufacturers often employ mould casting techniques to create prototypes that replicate the final product’s structural and dimensional characteristics.

At DiFoZ, we prioritize both speed and quality. We work with industry-standard CAD formats and, where necessary, provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) recommendations to improve performance, cost efficiency, and ease of production. Each inquiry is evaluated against criteria such as part function, geometry, alloy, surface finish, and turnaround requirements—enabling us to implement the most efficient path from concept to casting. For clients without a 3D CAD file, our engineering team can generate one from a simple 2D drawing, sketch, or even a physical sample. This ensures flexibility and accessibility, no matter where a client is in their design process.
